Since the City’s enrollment in the SoCalREN in 2013, the Program has worked with the City to support their aggressive energy reduction goals through multiple energy efficiency projects.

SoCalREN 2019 New Programs Webinar

In 2019, SoCalREN developed and launched three new programs to serve the needs of public agencies: the Revolving Loan Fund, Pathway to Zero Program, and Metered Savings Program. To announce the launch of these new programs and explain the benefits they provide to enrolled public agencies and other key stakeholders, SoCalREN hosted this webinar, which took place on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019.

Resiliency and Energy for Public Agencies

This recording of our workshop, "Resiliency and Energy for Public Agencies," covers energy efficiency and distributed energy solutions to help agencies become more resilient during natural disasters and energy emergencies. Learn from thought leaders and peers about resiliency resources related to energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, and funding, effective strategies implemented in recent case studies, and tools for building an effective emergency action plan. SoCalREN co-hosted this workshop, in partnership with Westside Energy Partnership, in August 2019.

SoCalREN and San Gabriel Valley Energy Wise Partnership benchmarking lunch-n-learn presentation slides from our March 2019 presentation at the San Gabriel Valley Public Works Technical Advisory Committee meeting. Benchmarking is a foundational energy management strategy to help you learn more about your energy usage and plan and prioritize efficiency measures. We presented on the basics of benchmarking through the Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) tool, local highlights, and energy analysis services available through SoCalREN.
