This inaugural event offered an exciting and inspiring day of learning for local students, exposing them to the many technologies and career paths in sustainability and energy efficiency. Designed as a collaboration between local government, private industry, and higher education institutions, this hands-on experience supports Los Angeles Unified School District’s Strategic Plan Pillar 1D: Academic Excellence—College and Career Readiness. With support from our sponsors, this event is offered at no cost to participating schools.

6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from Los Angeles Unified School District
Activities and Offerings
- Interactive workshops, hands-on activities, demonstrations, a Women in Energy Leadership Panel, keynote speakers, and a resource fair with industry employers, community partners, community colleges, universities, and more!
- Bus transportation to and from the event
- Onsite healthy lunch
- Post event curriculum to keep students engaged and motivated
